John Vanderpoel

John W. Vanderpoel

The camera you see here is a professional JVC KY27 Beta SP camera. John also used the Canon XL1 on the Durango Hwy in Sinaloa, MX and in the Bahamas. He travelled extensively throughout North and Central America to get the great footage in the video.

John successfully videotaped all of the species in the video except for Buff-bellied. His two favorite clips of hummingbirds are the Chiricuhua Mtns. White-eared and the Cuban Emerald perched in the Firecracker Flowers on Grand Bahama.
