Charles W. Melton

As a full-time photographer "Willie" travels extensively throughout much of the U.S. photographing a wide range of nature subjects. His images have been published in a variety of magazines, books, calendars, and other products. They have also accompanied articles he has had published in magazines such as Birder's World, Bird Watcher's Digest, and WildBird.

Hummingbirds are a favorite photographic subject of his and are his most published images. For the past four years Charles has been invited to present programs on hummingbirds at the Hummer/Bird Celebration in Rockport, TX. He also conducts a Hummingbird Photography Workshops near Tucson, AZ.

Willie videotaped much of the great footage of Buff-bellied Hummingbird in the Hummingbirds of North America video.
